Daily
Driven mainly by the Moon's fast-moving transit (it changes sign roughly every 2.25 days) plus the day's Panchang — see our Panchang tool. Short-lived, mood-level effects.
Live transit themes, not fixed daily predictions
Rather than generic daily predictions, this page calculates where Jupiter (Guru) and Saturn (Shani) are actually transiting right now, and shows the traditional theme for each Rashi based on that real position.

Calculating current transits…
Why this approach
Traditional Rashifal is based on how slow-moving planets like Jupiter and Saturn transit relative to your Moon sign (Rashi) — not a fixed daily script. Because Jupiter and Saturn move slowly, these themes generally hold for weeks or months at a time, not just one day.
Not all Rashifal is the same
Behind the scenes
Calculate the current sidereal position of every relevant graha — exactly what our Planet Transit tool shows live.
For each Rashi, work out which house that transiting planet currently falls in, counting from that Rashi as house 1.
Each house carries a traditional theme (career, relationships, finances...) which combines with the transiting planet's nature to form the reading.
A truly personalised reading also checks your current Vimshottari Dasha and full birth chart — which is why two people with the same Rashi can experience a transit differently.
Why this differs from your newspaper horoscope
Most Western horoscope columns are based on your Sun sign using the tropical zodiac. This page uses your Vedic Rashi (Moon sign) using the sidereal zodiac — see the full breakdown in our Birth Chart guide.
Common questions
Methodology varies — some use Sun sign (Western), some use Moon sign (Vedic), and the depth of chart factored in differs too. This page is transparent about using live Jupiter and Saturn transits from your Rashi specifically.
Since Jupiter and Saturn move slowly, checking monthly is usually enough to catch a real change — daily checking mostly reflects the Moon's quick transit, which is a much shorter-lived influence.
No — astrology is a traditional interpretive system, not an empirically validated science. Treat these themes as a reflective lens, not a certainty. See our full Disclaimer.
Rashi-based Rashifal groups everyone with the same Moon sign together — it's a broad-strokes view. Your Lagna, full planetary positions and running Dasha personalise things much further; a full Kundali captures all of that.
